TAMPA PASSPORT DAY – 10-12 March 2025

As part of initiatives aimed at providing a service closer to the Italian community residing in Florida, the Consulate General of Italy in Miami will organize a three-day mission in Tampa dedicated to collecting biometric data necessary for passport issuance. A consular officer will be present at the Old City Hall – Sister Cities Room – 1st Floor in Tampa from March 10 to 12, 2025, and will be available to Italian citizens who are regularly registered with AIRE in the consular district and whose passports are set to expire by the end of 2025.

How to Book:

Interested citizens are invited to express their interest by 11:59 PM on February 28, 2025, by sending an email to passaporti.miami@esteri.it with the subject: TAMPA PASSAPORT DAY. The email must include the full name, date of birth, and residential address of each person requesting an appointment. Requests received after the deadline will not be considered.

If requesting multiple appointments for family members, please include the details of all household members in the same email.

Important Information:

Selected citizens will receive an email notification in the days prior to the mission, containing their individual appointment time and the exact office address where they must report with all the required documents. Please note that photocopies cannot be made on-site.

Instructions for Submitting Applications and Passport Delivery:

To complete the passport renewal process, after biometric data collection, applicants must send the required documentation by mail to the Consulate General of Italy in Miami, along with a pre-paid, self-addressed envelope, which will be used to return the newly issued passport. It is recommended to use USPS Priority or Express Mail for mailing.
