Italian pensioners residing abroad are urged to take note of the new timelines and modalities regarding the INPS lifetime verification campaign for the 2025-2026 biennium.
This procedure is essential to ensure the regularity of pension payments and avoid unnecessary suspensions. The campaign is being managed by Citibank N.A. on behalf of INPS.
All affected pensioners will receive a notice from Citibank N.A. containing the standard attestation form and detailed instructions for completion and return.
For pensioners who are physically or mentally infirm, or who reside in health facilities or institutions, it will be possible to use the video calling service made available by consular offices.
Video calling is a supplementary mode, not a substitute, useful for completing verification in the most sensitive cases.
What to Do:
- Read carefully the documentation received from Citibank.
- Complete and return the forms by the deadlines.
- If necessary, contact the relevant consulate for information about the video call service.
- Disseminate this information among other Italian retirees in your community.

Failure to verify living will result in the suspension of pension payments. Pensioners, family members, associations and representatives of the Italian community abroad are therefore invited to cooperate in the dissemination of this notice.
