The Week of Italian Cuisine in the World celebrates its fourth edition to promote Italian culinary traditions and the connoisseurship of food and wine as a distinctive trait of Italian identity and culture. The theme of this year is: “The Mediterranean Diet as a Healthy Lifestyle and Model of Balanced Nutrition Available to All”.
From November, 17 to November 23, 2019 the Consulate General of Italy in Miami will be promoting many events including seminars, conferences, meetings with chefs, cooking masterclasses, tastings, and dinners.

-Nov. 19 Masterclass with Michelin rated chef Luigi Nastri and local Chef Giorgio Rapicavoli at the Miami Dade College Culinary Institute in the Wolfson Campus.
-Nov. 20 The Authentic Italian Table, event for the promotion of Italian cuisine at the cruise port of Miami

-Nov. 18 Live TV cooking presentations by acclaimed Tampa Bay chef featuring original Mediterranean diet dishes that will be prepared in real time (Channel 10 at 9:00 A.M.)
-Nov. 18 The Grand tasting: tastings and presentations on the Mediterranean diet at the Franklin Manor at 7:00 P.M.
