A Passport Day will be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, taking place on November 15, 2024.
In order to guarantee an effective service to the Italian-American community, the Consulate General of Italy in Miami is organizing a day entirely dedicated to capturing the biometric data necessary for the completion of passport application paperwork.
A consular officer will be present in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 15, 2024, and will be available to Italian citizens regularly registered with AIRE in the consular jurisdiction whose passports are due to expire by the end of 2025.
To reserve a spot, please send an email to passaporti.miami@esteri.it with the following subject line by 6 p.m. on November 2, 2024: PUERTO RICO PASSAPORT DAY.
Please include the first and last name, date of birth, and residential address for each person for whom the appointment is requested in the email. Requests received after the specified deadline will not be considered.
Be advised that nationals will receive their individual appointment confirmation with details of the time and the place along with the required documentation by email before November 15. Please note that it will not be possible to make photocopies on the spot.
In case of multiple reservation request, please specify the names of each family members of your household on the same email request.
The initiative is designed to streamline access to consular services, particularly for the collection of biometric data and the authentication of documents required for passport issuance.
Please note that, following data collection, the necessary documentation must be sent individually by mail to the Consulate General’s office in Miami (along with a pre-stamped envelope) for the newly issued passport to be returned to your home address.
