Over 100 Italian and American companies participated in the business luncheon organized last May 16 by the Consulate General of Italy in Miami in collaboration with the Italian-American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast (IACCSE) and the ICE Office in Miami to explore investment and business opportunities in the crucial sectors of infrastructure and transportation. We were honored by the distinguished participation of J. Alex Kelly, Florida Secretary of Commerce, and Jared W. Perdue, Secretary of Transportation, who shared valuable insights and food for thought on the development dynamics of Florida, which is emerging as a true global technological and financial hub, and illustrated the internationalization and investment strategies successfully implemented and/or planned for the coming years by the Florida Government. We were thrilled to welcome Vincenzo Ercole, Global Head of Infrastructure at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and Federico Moretti of ANCE (National Association of Construction Companies), who joined us directly from Italy, highlighting Italy’s keen interest in the investment and business opportunities in Florida for our companies. These companies possess remarkable expertise that allows them to compete on the global stage.

The event is part of a series of initiatives aimed at promoting the exchange of high value-added information between public and private players in Italy and Florida, with a view to strengthening bilateral relations and promoting new opportunities for cooperation in the strategic sectors of innovation, transport, infrastructure, and sustainable development.

Heartfelt thanks go to all the partners who contributed to the success of this initiative, which is part of a process of economic diplomacy aimed at promoting Italian excellence and consolidating bilateral partnership in an area of the United States that has given us extraordinary results.
