Following the strong earthquake recorded in Venezuela, the Crisis Unit of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation recommends that Italian nationals exercise particular caution, avoid remaining near damaged buildings, and follow the instructions issued by the local Authorities.
Damage has also been reported at Caracas International Airport, which is currently not operational.
Telephone and Internet services have been disrupted throughout Venezuela.

Tras el fuerte sismo registrado en Venezuela, la Unidad de Crisis del Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores y de Cooperación Internacional de Italia recomienda a los ciudadanos italianos extremar la precaución, evitar permanecer cerca de edificios dañados y seguir las indicaciones de las Autoridades locales.
También se han registrado daños en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Caracas, que actualmente no se encuentra operativo.
Las líneas telefónicas e Internet han sufrido interrupciones en todo el territorio venezolano.
