TRANSLATION, APOSTILLE & CERTIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS

U.S. documents and/or certificates must be legalized with the Apostille (The Hague Convention of 10.5.1961) in order for them to be valid in Italy. The Apostille is issued by the Secretary of State of the State where the document is originated.
Furthermore the documents and/or certificates must be translated into Italian and the translation must be certified by an Italian Consular Officer.

To have a translation certified by the Consulate General of Italy in Miami, you must mail your request to:

Consulate General of Italy in Miami - Attn: Notary Office

4000 Ponce de Leon Blvd, suite 590

Coral Gables FL 33146

You must include the following:

- original document;

- Apostille, if applicable;

- translation;

- Consular fee money order (link a Tariffa consolare);

- pre-stamped and filled-out returned envelope."

ATTENTION: In case of missing or incomplete documentation the request will be returned to sender without the issuance of any certification.
