Italian pensioners residing abroad are invited to take note of the new deadlines and procedures relating to the INPS campaign to verify the existence of pensioners abroad for the years 2025 and 2026, as provided for in INPS Messages No. 890 of March 13, 2025 and No. 1409 of May 5, 2025.
This procedure is essential to ensure the regularity of pension payments and avoid unnecessary suspensions. The campaign is managed by Citibank N.A. on behalf of INPS.
All pensioners concerned will receive a communication from Citibank N.A. containing the standard certification form and detailed instructions for completing and returning it by July 18, 2025.
Pensioners who are physically or mentally incapacitated, or who reside in healthcare facilities or institutions, may use the video call service provided by consular offices.
Video calls are an additional service, not a substitute, and are useful for completing the verification process in the most delicate cases.
What to do:
- Read the documentation received from Citibank carefully.
- Complete and return the forms by the deadlines.
- If necessary, contact the relevant consulate for information on the video call service.
- Share this information with other Italian pensioners in your community.
