Dear fellow Italians,<\/p>\n
as you know, our community continues to grow, and as a result we are receiving an increasing number of passport renewal requests. This may occasionally make it difficult for users to secure an appointment. New passport appointments are released every day<\/strong> at midnight in Italy (6:00 pm in Miami)<\/strong>, as well as on Thursday mornings<\/strong>, when at least 80 additional slots<\/strong> for the following week are made available. In total, between 150 and 170 passport appointments<\/strong> are offered each week.<\/p>\n To further increase the number of passports we can issue and to meet the needs of as many users as possible, we have also introduced \u2014 on an experimental basis and in order to assist those who need to travel soon \u2014 extraordinary afternoon openings<\/strong> of the Passport Office, starting last March. These openings are intended primarily for Italian citizens already registered with AIRE<\/strong> whose passports expire within 60 days<\/strong> from the publication of the notices.<\/p>\n Please note that the next extraordinary afternoon opening of the Passport Office of the Consulate General is scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Access to the Consulate will be granted by appointment only<\/strong>, to be requested in advance by following the instructions below:<\/p>\n
