The Education Office is the driving force for the promotion of the Italian language and culture in the Southeast United States. We are dedicated to building bridges between the Italian and local educational systems, supporting students, teachers, and families.
What We Do
Our goal is to make Italian language and culture accessible and integrated within the region:
- Course Management: Coordinating Italian language programs in public and private schools.
- Academic Support: Assistance for agreements between universities and schools in both countries.
- Guidance: Helping families navigate the Italian school system and providing Declarations of Value.
- Opportunities: Promoting scholarships and exchange programs.
Our Partners
We collaborate daily with:
- Non-profit Organizations (Enti Gestori) for the widespread organization of courses.
- Local Schools and School Districts.
- Families and Students wishing to maintain or build a connection with Italy.
️ Leadership
The Education Sector is headed by a School Principal (Dirigente Scolastico), selected by the MAECI (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) through a high-level competitive selection process.
