The Italian Design Day (IDD) is an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, together with Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes around the world.
This initiative features events that celebrate Italian design and its creativity and innovation potential in cultural and economic fields.
This year IDD will hold its 4th edition with the theme: “Drawing the Future. Development, Innovation, Sustainability”.

The program for this year's edition will be presented from Italy by Alba Cappellieri, Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, Director of the International Master in Fashion Accessories Design and the Master on Brand and Product Management at the Milano Fashion Institute, as well as other outstanding experts as Mario Braghieri and Massimo Casagrande from the Istituto Marangoni (Miami-Milano), Silvia Barisione from the FIU Wolfsonian Museum, and Italian designer Giovanna Talocci (Roma), former Vice President of the Association for Industrial Design.
