The Education Office provides information and consultation for enrollment in Schools in the consular jurisdiction and for Universities in Italy.

It provides information on Declarations of Value required for degrees from schools and universities within the consular jurisdiction. These declarations allow applicants to obtain the equivalence of primary and secondary titles, to return to Italian studies or to demonstrate the equivalence with Italian titles. It also allows for enrollment in Italian schools and universities, in addition to obtaining scholarships and having their university studies recognized in Italy.

The Education Office of the Consulate General in Miami covers also the consular jurisdictions of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, Mississippi, Puerto Rico. It also includes Jamaica, Bahamas, and the following territories: US Virgin Islands, St. Marteen, St. Eustatius, Saba, American Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Turks & Caicos.

Please note that the new portal dedicated to the internationalization of the Italian higher education system, Study in Italy, is now available. The portal was created with the dual objective of creating a new platform for the management of the Italian Government scholarships' program and for guiding and assisting international students interested in spending a period of study in Italy.

The portal joins the websites of MIUR, Studiare in Italia  and Universitaly, in which procedures for entry, stay and matriculation of international students to higher education's courses at Italian Universities and Institutions of  artistic, musical and dance training (AFAM), are reported. Furthermore, they furnish all the information on the registration required for admission tests related to courses with a limited access.

The Education Office also provides a list of schools where Italian is taught and a map of Italian courses provided by schools and universities in Miami.
